I have been getting my 5% Lidocaine patches, made by Qualitest; from Rite Aid Pharmacy for years. The other day I received my new supply of patches they were made by MYLAN. These patches are absolute junk! They are made of this thin plastic film, which with my RA is...

These patches are hard to pull apart but the most frustrating is that once one can apply it, it will on stay on for about 5 minutes. It rumples up and falls off, the glue does not hold on!

Lidocaine patches 5%

Junk. If I would've spent my own money on this , I would've returned them to the store. However I will be letting my insurance company know that they need to get reimbursed because these patches won't even stick on my body with medical tape or a wrap. My pain is unreal and I was excited to try these, but I'm more frustrated than ever before. You should be ashamed to sell something this ***

User's recommendation: DO NOT USE THESE.

The patch contains a total of 140 Mg of lidocaine, meaning it contains 1/5 the amount of adhesive it should. It does not stick and does not work. A 5% patch contains 5 Mg per gram of adhesive. If the total dose is not the same, you are not getting enough adhesive or drug. It should contain 700 Mg per patch, as in the brand Lidoderm, Qualitest/Par or Actavis.

User's recommendation: Check total dose and ask for Qualitest or Par.

Appalled with Mylan’s lidocsine patches not sticking!

I've used lidocaine patches by Actavis for over 10 yrs for hip and spine problems for which surgery results would be poor for me. Actavis patches are wonderful, they stick great, theyre thick yet soft and easy to use. I recently got a prescription filled with the Mylan patches and they are pitiful compared to the Actavis brand: thin, noisy cheap and thin and NOT adhere to my normal skin. Why?!?!?! We need effective and reliable pain relief tools! Mylan, PLEASE fix your quality deficiencies asap. Most insurance should cover your patches even if you approve them and have to raise your price a little. Only an improved product would be worth it

User's recommendation: REQUEST great Mylan patches instead!

Just give me medical tape-patch awful

I have used lidocaine patch 5% for years. This is the worst I have every received. Peeled off within 10 minutes. I was in bed going to sleep. I attempted to tape it on. Nothing happened. Literally better pain relief from roll on Aspercreme. Even though I had a $30 copay I want my money back for over the counter pain control. I called the company, complained to my insurance and asked for a different lidocaine patch from the pharmacy. Please tell me this is some type of joke. I read back on how long this has been happening. Theyve pulled Tylenol quicker for things than this and this is a prescription. Fix this. Its adhesive.

User's recommendation: Buy Over the counter patch. Save cash.

Mylan Lidocaine patches suck

Mylan Lidocaine patches suck
If I could give 0 stars for this product I would. These patches do NOT stick!! I want my $94.40 back!!! Ive used lido patches before from this company that were made of cloth that worked perfectly but as every big pharma company does they cheap out and change the product to save a buck!! They went with a cheap plastic patch that doesnt stick and is useless!! I will be calling your customer service on Monday expecting a better product or a refund!!! This product is complete trash!!! I am having to tape something that is made to stick in its own Why must companies screw the customer just to get richer???

User's recommendation: Do not buy Mylan products.

I received a 90 day supply of citalopram in the form of a white tablet MX33 by Mylan. As time went by I began to have a problem with my throat and feeling punk. I finally went to urgent care because I was running a low grade fever, my ears rang and I was sleeping 10 to...

Fall off

These are so thin, inflexible and always fall off.

User's recommendation: Have your pharmacy order generic Lidoderm patches. Same thing but medical grade quality with gel that sticks and doesn’t irritate skin.

Horrible excuse for patch

CVS gave me this brand, so I had no choice. I'm very upset. I needed lidocain patch for pain, but they won't stick so no effect. Don't buy. Ask pharmacist which brand they are giving you. I spent money I needed for pain relief and.now I have to find some other way. Aspercream OTC was.better. Stop selling this patch.

User's recommendation: Ask pharmacist which brand they sell before buying.
